WE FOUND THEM! They did, indeed, accidentally end up with the Marlins package from the same break. The cards are being shipped from the accidental recipient to the rightful owner. (Thank you, Jason!)

Missing Chrome Autos

You would think that with as organized as we are that this kind of mistake would NEVER happen. In packing up our Topps Chrome half case break, we inadvertently left the two Dan Vogelbach autographs (shown above) out of the box that was shipped to the rightful owner of the Mariners spot. We do not have them with us here. The likely scenario? We accidentally shipped them to someone else. Our guess is we shipped them to the person who had the Marlins (because, in our sorting system, the Mariners and Marlins are right next to each other).

IF YOU HAVE SEEN THESE TWO CARDS please let me know immediately so that we can send them out to the correct person as soon as possible! THANK YOU!

My Chrome Summer

Well, that was definitely a first. It certainly wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t have four days off from my day job to get it all done. Because of the big bump in price on cases of Topps Chrome, I took our case of Topps Chrome Jumbo and split it up into three breaks. The first break was a standard PYT (Pick Your Team) half-caser. The second was a really interesting Hybrid Triple Team two box break (one drafted team, two random teams). The final was a fun, cheap two box Random Team break.

I’m very glad I split the case up in this way. It ended up being a very Brewers- and A’s-heavy case (in terms of autographs, anyway). We came away with a Bellinger auto, a Happ auto, some great low-numbered parallel autos, a nice array of color base parallels, inserts, and more. It was a lot of fun, and I definitely want to do something like this again! Check out the replay of all three breaks below.
