Quote from AKSox on February 22, 2021, 6:37 pmGood afternoon card collectors. I have been enjoying the quick introduction videos that have been popping up on the various Topps social media sites. I’m not familiar with most of the artists so it’s been nice to learn a little bit about them. Today’s Cutch card is cool; if I was made of money I’d definitely get that one. The Aaron Judge card is beautifully done but I hate the Yankees 😛 I like Griffey as much as the next person but his card reminds me of some oddball 2000s insert so I’ll pass.

Quote from Christopher on February 23, 2021, 10:49 amMaybe the sour taste left by P2020 influenced my apprehensiveness towards P70, but I'm digging the artwork on more of these than I thought I would so far. Granted... I don't care for all of them, but a few look really nice. It will be interesting to see which, if any, artists start to show signs of fatigue as this trudges along.

Quote from AKSox on February 23, 2021, 5:34 pmObviously my feelings on these art cards are mine and mine alone but I’m just not feeling them. I’m definitely not artistic so I should not even comment. I do not care for the A-rod card. Harper looks like he is descending down onto the city of Philadelphia like he’s Superman so that’s kinda cool. I kinda like the Strawberry but still not enough for me to fork over some doll hairs.

Quote from AKSox on February 24, 2021, 4:41 pmOk, for the first time I like all three cards. I’m a sucker for Jackie Robinson and that gold border is eye-catching. I might have to buy one. I also like the 1988 design; why though? It must be cause in 1988 I was 11 years old and nostalgic for less worrisome days. The Clemente is also popping with the color and I know the Brew Crew doesn’t have many fans at Crackin’ Wax but I like the graffiti aspect of the Yelich card.

I would say @feildy88 and @colt-pingilley are the biggest Brew Crew fans here 😉

Quote from AKSox on February 25, 2021, 3:54 pmFinally! I love the Pedro card, and I’m gonna snag one. I love how kooky it is. I love that it has his favorite food depicted also. Will I buy all 20 of Distortedd offerings? Probably not but we shall see. I also like the Justin Turner card. It is very vibrant. As for the Ohtani, it’s alright.

Quote from AKSox on February 27, 2021, 6:53 pmA little late to post about the current selection; here goes nothing. I think all 3 look pretty nice. The Piazza screams 90s all the way and the Soto looks good with all the blue hues. The Hank Aaron is very interesting and I might get one.

Quote from AKSox on March 1, 2021, 1:11 pmNew week and three new cards. Sophia Chang’s Bellinger is fine I guess. The Rickey is intriguing to me. It’s different and it’s nice to see some new artists show off their styles. The Trout is not my bag. I ended up not buying the Hank Aaron so I have only bought one card so far, (Pedro.) Most print runs have been in the 3500ish range except for the first three offerings, the Griffeys and the Natural Soto. Has anyone else bought any or have any thoughts?
