What an amazing break! We pulled all sorts of fantastic cards, had a blast during the break, but more than that—we raised more money during this one break alone than we did all of last year! Here’s the breakdown of our progress so far…

THE CASE BREAKERS has raised and will donate $200 to their local Big Brothers Big Sisters in conjunction with his Allen & Ginter case break.

MOJO BOX BREAKS will be reporting back soon…

Here’s how we at Crackin’ Wax were able to donate a thousand dollars!

  • $50 raised from the previous Bowman Inception case break
  • $155 raised from the Allen & Ginter case break ($5 from each of the 31 spots)
  • $35 in “skunk” refunds donated back
  • $751.69 after PayPal fees raised from the charity prize
  • I kicked in a few more bucks to make it an even grand!

    GOAL: $2500
    TOTAL: $1650

    (as of 8/6/15)

Holy cow! Even without Mojo’s total reported, that makes us only $850 short of our goal of $2500 raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters! I can’t get over the amazing generosity of you folks who joined our breaks and entered for the massive charity prize to help out this great cause!

Speaking of that prize… if you missed it at the end of the break, Chris Mays of Maddux Glavine and Smoltz was the big winner! Congrats, Chris! Be sure to show off those big hits!

I can’t thank you all enough for making this the biggest charity year we’ve had to date. Collectors in this hobby continue to blow me away with their kindness and generosity, and this charity break is proof positive of just that. Be proud, wax crackers. You’ve just made a HUGE difference in this world!
